Nclex Item Writing For Nurse Educators

Course overview

This course will facilitate the role of a nursing educator in how to write items based on the National Council State Board of Nursing (NCSBN) recommendations. The educator will assimilate knowledge of National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEx) test plan content and approach to higher-level thinking and item writing in the educational program for nursing faculty. It will develop the ability of the educator to understand the content of items within a nursing textbook test bank and re-word items to meet licensure standards.
