Course overview
End of life care refers to the final weeks of life when death is imminent and unavoidable. In recent years we have witnessed fierce public debates on the subject of death and dying. Studies have supported the need to better address the care of the dying patient. This course discusses the controversies, and provide direction for meeting the patient's needs for psychological support, comfort care, and empowerment.
