Course overview
A pneumatic anti-shock garment (PASG; also known as a military anti-shock garment [MAST] and shock pants) is a device developed to initially stabilize patients with significant trauma of the pelvis or lower extremities by decreasing blood flow to the extremities. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of PASG deflation and removal. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
