Course overview
Disaster response to biologic exposure refers to interventions designed to treat patients and minimize exposure related to widespread contamination with a toxic biologic agent (e.g., anthrax, smallpox). This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of disaster response for patients with biologic exposure, and to aid in caring for the patient exposed to a toxic biologic agent. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
