PRE-SERVICE ORIENTATION

Course overview

This webinar addresses the legislative change made to FS 429 effective 10/1/15 requiring all ALF¿s to provide new employees who have not completed CORE Training to attend a 2 Hour Pre-Service Orientation before interacting with residents. The Pre-Service Orientation must be at least 2 hours in duration and cover topics that help the employee provide responsible care and respond to the needs of the facility residents. Upon completion, the employee and the administrator must sign a statement that the employee completed the required Pre-Service Orientation. The webinar attendee will be provided with information needed to form their own facility Pre-service Orientation training.
