Profection: Treating the Moment of Trauma

Course overview

In this webinar we will address a novel approach to connecting with of trauma. This may be in the psychosocial realm or in the physical. The method is a synthesis of early Greeks thought and the number 12 as it relates to Chinese calendars, channel systems and the diurnal movement of nutrient qi. Since we are approaching matters of a highly delicate nature, we must, I repeat must, engage the adaptive systems of the eight extraordinary vessels in order to allow for a deeper transformation of the epigenetic imprints of the event. All too often, deep psychological material is released either intentionally or unintentionally in the therapeutic environment and the adaptive systems of the individuals are in adequately engaged to allow for a transformation and an aggravation takes place. This is not a healing crisis! Rather, it is a medical error. It is my belief that the eight extraordinary vessels are a tool for down modulating the aggravations that can take place when treating deep core material. It is necessary, therefore, for us to develop knowledge and skill with the eight extraordinary vessel pulse in order to understand the emerging compensatory mechanisms in relationship to the issues that arise when coming into contact with a core wound.
