Describe the clinical value of stress myocardial perfusion imaging. 2. Discuss the goals of pharmacologic (chemical) stress myocardial perfusion studies. 3. Describe the clinical selection of the most appropriate chemical stress agent. 4. Discuss the dosing regimen, pharmacologic effects on the myocardium and other organs, adverse effects and methods to reverse or treat adverse effects of the chemical stress agents. NOTE: An annual subscription for Purdue¿s nuclear pharmacy recertification program provides access to both the continuing education component of the program and the ¿Radiopharmacy Portal,¿ a reference resource for practitioners.
