Recognize common mechanisms of biologic localization that are utilized following radiopharmaceutical administration (K, C) 2. Review the mechanism of localization and expected biodistribution of most commonly used radiopharmaceuticals (K, C) 3. List examples of altered radiopharmaceutical biodistribution related to improper product preparation (K, C) NOTE: An annual subscription for Purdue¿s nuclear pharmacy recertification program provides access to both the continuing education component of the program and the ¿Radiopharmacy Portal,¿ a reference resource for practitioners. Subscriptions to the continuing educational offerings, which have been accredited through ACPE and BPS, can be purchased for an annual fee of $195 for nuclear pharmacists and $95 for nuclear pharmacy technicians.
