Identify the authorities that oversee adherence to nursing laws, statutes, and regulations imposed on nurses under the Nursing Practice Act. 2. Recognize the minimum standards for licensed vocational nurses, registered nurses, and advanced practice nurses, standards of nursing practice in Texas, and factors required for safe delegation to unlicensed assistive personnel. 3. Identify legal protections granted to nurses who report questionable conduct in good faith, and the difference between the legal and ethical obligations of a nurse.
