Ovarian Function and Jing Potential: modern western and traditional Chinese approaches

Course overview

This course will cover the TCM view of the reproductive system. We will look at the complex manner in which the kidney system of energies governs ovarian function, transit through the fallopian tubes, and the receptive potential of the uterus. The student will learn how jing potential can be maximized to facilitate a better reproductive response. We will utilize both modern western reproductive understandings, and traditional Chinese approaches - acupuncture, herbal preparations, and TCM nutritional therapy to improve reproductive functioning.
