Addressing Perimenopausal Fertility and supporting IVF with advanced maternal age; heart-kidney axis

Course overview

This course will cover the nuances of addressing perimenopausal fertility. When working with women over 35, we must address the declining yang ming, and how it impacts the reproductive functioning. We will look at the reproductive differences in ovarian functioning, the GnRH pulsatility of the hypothalamus, its impact ont he pituitary gland and the FSH molecule, and how and why the ovary responds in a more delicate manner than younger women. The module will cover how to support older women undergoing IVF with Chinese medicine, utilizing the heart-kidney axis.
