Treating Reproductive Autoimmune Issues

Course overview

Reproductive immunology is the discipline of addressing autoimmune issues in the reproductive patient who experiences difficulty with implantation, or suffers repeated miscarriages. This course will cover the reproductive medical pathology and what autoimmune markers of implantation mean. We will then apply a TCM understanding of this pathology to create a TCM treatment plan to reduce autoimmune reactivity and calm the immune system down. We will cover such issues as blood clotting factors, and natural anticoagulant therapeutics with acupuncture, supplements and herbs, as well as identifying and addressing the characteristic makeup of a patient with autoimmune implantation issues.
