This publication presents clinical guidelines to help substance abuse treatment counselors address issues that arise from their clients¿ status in the criminal justice system and to aid personnel in the criminal justice system in understanding and addressing the challenges of working with offenders with substance use disorders. This course addresses major treatment issues and approaches in pretrial and diversion settings. This course covers Chapter 7 only.
