Upon successful completion of this program the learner will be able to discuss the epidemiology of stroke. Understand stroke of cerebrovascular accident. (CVA). Identify ischemic and hemmorhagic stroke. Knowledge of diseases that cause stroke.Identify signs and symptoms of stroke. Discuss risk factors for CVA. Understand areas of the brain affected by a CVA. Discuss stroke prevention. Understand techniques to diagnose a CVA. Knowledge of treatment of ischemic stroke, embolic stroke and hemmorhagic stroke.
