Course overview

This workbook will examine the relationship between domestic violence and substance abuse. This startling and devastating clinical presentation is becoming more and more prevalent, necessitating improved clinical skills in the area of assessment, treatment and referral. The ability to both recognize the presence of domestic violence as well as demonstrating skills in interviewing the batterer and survivor are two of several goals of this course.
