Skin Diseases

Course overview

As the therapist is always in contact with the client’s skin, the objective of this course is to help identify some types of skin disease and protect the therapist. At the end of this course the therapist will be able to differentiate contagious skin diseases versus non-contagious skin diseases. The therapist will be to distinguish the different types of fungus, parasites, herpes simplex, staphylococcus, streptococci, warts, acne, rosacea, dermatitis, and eczema.
