Course overview

This Foundational webinars provide a balanced understanding of pain from the NeiJing and from biomedical science. The mechanism of acupuncture analgesia is taught from a neurological perspective ranging from theory to treatment design and strategy. Using the modern understanding of the nervous system as a master key, we unlock the hidden meanings from chapters in the NeiJing concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of pain. This component provides the groundwork for assessing and treating pain conditions that compliments the understanding of Acu-point anatomy and needle technique taught in subsequent modules.
