Course overview

Course Description This course is designed as an overview of Electrosurgery. The course will review how it works; explain the equipment that is used in electrosurgery and the safety technology that is built inside the generators; and basic electrosurgical safety precautions. Also covered will be safe practices, specifically surrounding the grounding pad, such as optimal placement sites, proper skin preparation, pad application and removal. Finally, this course will provide some general guidelines for a good fire safety program in your facility.
