New Wave Med Errors in an Electronic World
Tracking # 20-535745
Course overview
This program will review the increasing adoption of electronic medication ordering and examine its effect or reducing medication errors. Conversely, it will look at how this has replaced some old common medication errors with newer ones that have the potential to be just as detrimental. Pharmacists and pharmacy technicians will be able to apply this information to their practice by examining real case examples, continuous quality improvement, and other methods that can be used to reduce medication errors.
