Assessing gestational age (GA) after delivery involves conducting a physical examination of a newborn within 12¿48 hours of delivery, using a tool such as the New Ballard Score. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of assessing GA. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
