List the major contributing factors which lead to antibiotic-resistance. Describe the harmful impact that resistance can have on high-risk groups, including those with chronic illnesses such as cancer. Recognize how to manage these infections and what the implications are for our public health. Explain the four core actions necessary to prevent antibiotic resistance. List some of the methods healthcare workers can utilize to fight the spread of antibiotic- resistant microorganisms.
