Course overview

Puerto Ricans are a Hispanic minority group that originated from the Caribbean island of Puerto Rico. Patients of Puerto Rican heritage refers to patients born in Puerto Rico and patients of Puerto Rican descent who are living outside of Puerto Rico. This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner an increased understanding of current knowledge about providing CC care to patients of Puerto Rican heritage with DM2. Readers may explore any or all of the topics. One contact hour of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
