Course overview

This course will teach you about osteoarthritis and osteoporosis in terms of their etiology, prevalence, pathophysiology, signs and symptoms, complications, diagnosis, prevention and treatment, including some pharmacological interventions and the latest research about hormone replacement therapy as well as the cardiovascular side effects of the COX-2 inhibitors and the effects of this research on the withdrawal of some medications from the market and stronger warnings.
