Course overview
The goal of the module is to provide nurses with information regarding the recognition and management of common nutritional, metabolic, lymphatic, emotional and psychological symptoms of malignant disorders. On completion of this module, the learner will be able to: Recognize the importance of symptom management for the palliative and hospice patient. Identify common symptoms that are associated with nutritional and metabolic issues, the lymphatic system, and emotional responses and psychological symptoms. Describe interventions for symptom management.
