The goal of this module is to provide nurses preparing for the CPN exam with information on performing a complete health history, collecting and documenting pertinent data and performing a pediatric assessment. On completion of this module, the learner will be able to: the conclusion of this module, the learner will be able to: Discuss the components of a pediatric rapid assessment Identify a methodology for a primary and secondary assessment Describe the components of special assessments for hearing and vision screening Discuss the role of the pediatric nurse in assessing and reporting child abuse
