Course overview

The goal of this module is to provide nurses preparing for the CPN exam with information about pediatric growth and development. On completion of this module, the learner will be able to: Differentiate between the terms growth and development Provide major growth and developmental milestones Discuss the cognitive, psychosocial, and personality theories of development Identify key considerations in creating an age and developmentally appropriate nursing care plan Discuss strategies to providing nursing care to patients across the lifespan.
