The goal of this review course is to help learners prepare for the Nursing Professional Development Certification (RN-BC) Examination. After studying the information presented here, the learner will be able to: Define performance improvement Identify at least three performance indicators used by NPD specialists in process improvement Discuss two practice and excellence initiatives and the role of NPD specialists Describe two key outcome measures to determine impact of NPD activities Differentiate between a performance or system issue and an educational need
