This Hiv and Aids course discuss statistical and epidemiological overviews for HIV and AIDS. It review the background and epidemiological history of the Human Immunodeficiency Virus, and discuss the latest trends and statistics of the HIV and of the AIDS Disease This course also review the transmission variables and explain the presently known ways to contract the HIV virus, and describe the center for disease control’s classification system. This course also contain the review of clinical signs and symptoms that accompany either HIV infection or AIDS, and discuss the latest treatment regimens for the infected HIV or AIDS patient. This course specify the HIV incubation period and procedure for counseling, testing, case reporting, and public health notification. This course also discuss and identify risk factors in the transmission and progression of HIV and specify the role of CD-4+ cell counts in diagnosing and reporting AIDS and HIV.
