This 2 hr. visual and interactive learning program will assist nurses and other care team members to enhance patient/family unit outcomes through improved communication of embryologic cardiac development utilizing animated illustration of cardiac origins, formation and first pulsations of the primitive tubular pump and finally the separation of arterial from venous blood flow. While navigating the course please be mindful of the exquisite balance between normal cardiac development versus congenital cardiac defect.
