Course overview

Shen disorders are a special case in the practice of Oriental Medicine. We are just as likely to see a pain-free person with Anxiety as a person with knee pain who also suffers from chronic depression. Patients may come to us specifically to treat a Shen disorder, yet many others are unaware that we treat such conditions. Moreover, many people with a Shen disorder are unaware that they have a problem. To better serve these patients, we must recognize the signs and understand the Oriental medical theory behind Shen disorders.
