Course overview

A fecal containment device (FCD) is a non-invasive, external drainage pouch that fits over the anus and collects fecal matter, thereby protecting the patient’s skin from contact with feces. A FCD is indicated for patients with fecal incontinence (FI). This continuing education module is designed to give the reader/learner and increased understanding of using a DHH. One contact hour, or 0.1 CEU, of continuing education credit is available for those who successfully complete the post-test and evaluation form.
