DISTAL POINTS COMBINATIONS

Course overview

This course will provide practical assistance to the acupuncture practitioners who want to practice in a low-cost, high-volume community acupuncture clinic as outlined by the POCA co-op. Specifically it will instruct prospective community acupuncturists about the use of distal point prescriptions for conditions commonly seen in the community clinic. Participants will a) watch a video by Justine Deutsch Myers of Acupuncture Together focused on distal point combinations; b) review the handout which accompanies the video; and c) review discussions on the POCA forums about distal point treatments for such conditions as low back pain, headaches, fibromyalgia, etc.
