When healthcare workers effectively communicate with those for whom they care, it helps patients, clients, and residents feel less isolated and can improve their sense of well-being. Communicating effectively with peers, subordinates, and supervisors is not only an expectation of all healthcare professionals, it is also critical for ensuring patient well being.
