Course overview

In this activity, we cover physiology of respiration, reactive airway disorders, obstructive airway disease, pneumothorax, inflammatory reactive illness, pulmonary edema and pulmonary vascular disorders. After completing this activity, nurses should be able to: discuss reactive and obstructive airway diseases and their nursing interventions; analyze nursing interventions for patients with infectious respiratory diseases; inspect the pathophysiology of pulmonary vascular disorders; and examine the pathophysiology of pneumothorax.
