Course overview

Workplace bullying in nursing is a complex problem with deep roots in the culture of health care. Healthcare workers have a responsibility to contribute to positively changing the culture of workplace bullying. Although individual efforts may not be enough to completely change an organization, each nurse can learn the skills necessary to address negative behaviors and create a professional, respectful, and civil workplace. After completing this course, nurses will have the requisite knowledge to recognize, address, and mitigate workplace bullying and promote a respectful, supportive, and professional healthcare work environment.
