Course overview
The Five-Star Quality Rating System was developed by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). It is a tool to help consumers compare the overall quality of skilled nursing facilities in order to help them select a facility that best meets their needs. This educational activity will provide the learner with an overview of the Five Star Report. In addition, the learner will understand the domains within the Five Star Quality Rating System and how these domains impact the operations at nursing facilities.
