Skintegrity: Hyperbaric Oxygen and Adjuvant Therapies

Course overview

Difficult to heal wounds are challenging. When conventional care has been unsuccessful in providing the expected healing outcome, the use of adjunct treatment modalties may be in order. In this module, HBO or hyperbaric oxygen will be discussed in depth along with other treatment modalities such as negative pressure wound therapy, electronic stimulation, and ultrasound as treatment options for non-healing wounds.
