Course overview
This course will cover the following: 1.Identify the demographics and the use of services by people with spinal cord injury. 2.Discuss the following physical/psychological changes, associated comorbidities and management required by patients status post SCI: ¿ shoulder function ¿ osteoporosis and fractures ¿ skin and pressure sores ¿ pain, pain self-efficacy and catastrophizing 3.Explain the use of assistive technology and brain-computer interfaces as mechanisms for improving performance of critical activities of daily living for the patient status post SCI.
