Course overview

Research and testing are a constant in the field of rheumatology, and some exciting new treatments that could offer patients much needed relief are in various phases of trials and approval. Although oral biologics are not yet available, great strides continue to be made in this area, and there is optimism that this mode of administration will soon be available. In the meantime, conventional treatments, new treatments, and biologics available as self-injection and intravenous infusion are available to treat rheumatologic conditions.
