Lymphedema: An Orphan Disease
Tracking # 20-577539
Course overview
Lymphedema and wounds associated with it represent a difficult issue to deal with, primarily because the lymphatic system does not neatly fall into any medical specialty, and consequently few clinicians are well versed in its pathophysiology or treatment. The aim of this course is to increase awareness and introduce healthcare providers to emerging modalities and therapeutic options available for treatment of lymphedema and like diseases, such as lipedema and lipo-lymphedema.
