Course overview
This class will present an overview of the Americans with Disabilities Act, who is protected by the law, and the requirements for businesses, schools and other public entities. After a reintroduction of the law, special populations and the protections that the law gives for those people will be discussed. We will cover the following special populations: deafness, pregnancy, blindness & visual impairment, epilepsy, diabetes, cancer, HIV, and other considerations/dress code.
