Parenting After a Death (Self-Study)
Tracking # 20-578981
Course overview
This self-study course explores the difficulties of parenting after a significant family death such as the loss of a spouse or child. Here, parents have to cope with their own loss while continuing to parent and assisting their children as they too adapt to the loss. While there is much research on bereavement, little work has focused to the formidable challenge of parenting bereaved children in the midst of their own grief. This webinar offers strategies and interventive approaches to assist parents in meeting this challenge.
