The purpose of this course is to prepare healthcare professionals to identify child abuse and maltreatment/neglect and to comply with Pennsylvania mandatory reporting requirements. This course discusses the indicators of child abuse, the impact of trauma and ACEs, the influence of implicit bias, and the Pennsylvania state-specific responsibilities and legal obligations of reporting to ChildLine.
