It further analyse and discuss factors contributing to childhood overweight and obesity. It discuss components of assessment and strategies for the prevention of overweight and obesity. This course also provides tools and explain interventions to treat overweight and obese children and adolescents. Ethical issues concerning overweight and obesity in children and adolescents is also discussed.
