Statement of Learning Need

Heart disease is the leading cause of death in women in the United States.While awareness among health clinicians has increased in recent years, there still exists a need for ongoing learning and review of heart health treatment standards that will lead to improved prevention, earlier detection, and better treatment outcomes of heart disease in women.

Course Purpose 

To provide health clinicians with knowledge necessary to increase their efforts to improve the prevention and treatment of heart disease.

Target Audience

Advanced Practice Registered Nurses, Registered Nurses, and other Interdisciplinary Health Team Members.
