Eating Disorders: Anorexia, Bulimia, Binge Eating, & Orthorexia

Course overview

This course will identify the proper classification and diagnostic approaches to eating disorders. This course will also address the issues in pathogenesis, etiology, managment and prognosis of eating disorders. Also, this course will discuss the issues of oromaxillar pathology and other systemic pathology observed in eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa. And finally, this course will enable health care professionals to consult their patients regarding unhealthy weight obsession and self-image issues, as well as suggest adaptive changes in their patients' lifestyles.
