Target Audience: The target audience for this education program is nurses who want to increase their knowledge of anxiety disorders, as well as to improve their ability to provide nursing care for patients affected by such disorders. Course Overview: Anxiety disorders are the most common type of psychiatric disorders. Anxiety disorders have a negative impact not only on health and wellness, but also on the monetary cost of healthcare. Patients who are diagnosed with these types of disorders often experience significant difficulties in the home and in the workplace. This education program provides nurses with information about the various anxiety disorders, how to recognize them, as well as the demographics, diagnosis, and treatment pertaining to them.
