Target Audience: The target audience for this education program is nurses who provide nursing care to individuals who are dealing with feeding and eating disorders and who want to improve their ability to provide high quality nursing care when working with individuals affected by eating disorders. Course Overview: Anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa are serious health problems that are growing in prevalence and incidence. This education program discusses the characteristics, incidence and prevalence, diagnostic process, and treatment for these significant health issues. Course Objectives: Upon completion of this education program, the learner should be able to: 1. Identify the characteristics of anorexia nervosa. 2.
