Introduction: This course is designed to familiarize nurses with the basics of pregnancy. From conception to delivery. The bad and the good. Pregnant women end up everywhere throughout healthcare and I have found that many nurses fear them. When they come in to the emergency department for an illness, nurses are intimidated by the pregnancy aspect. When they come to their primary care physician, they are feared. My hope is to encourage all nurses in all fields to understand pregnancy better. Objectives:In this module, we will discuss many different aspects of pregnancy.
