Course overview

INTERACT is a program designed to improve care of residents in long term care facilities in order to reduce the number of unnecessary hospitalizations. This activity will allow the learner to understand the importance of unnecessary hospitalizations in relation to healthcare reform initiatives. In addition, the learner will gain knowledge about strategies and tools devolved for reducing unnecessary hospitalizations.
